I am the mother of four very unique, spirited, opinionated, boisterous children. I would have it no other way. At no point during the past 8 1/2 years have I ever thought "Man I wish that I didn't have these little monsters!" I have questioned whether or not a certain second born is actually mine or if he was switched at the hospital. But then realized that he is my dad made over and he most certainly belongs in our household.
There is one thing that drives me bananas......my name. The three children who have accomplished their vocal skills say "Mommy" before, during, and after each and every statement, question, and declaration that they utter during the day. Eli and Audrey probably even do it in their sleep! This is a typical conversation:
Child: "Mommy"
Me: "yes"
Child: "Mommy"
Me: "What is it?"
Child:"Mommy"
Me: "WHAT?"
Child:"Mommy.... I LOVE YOU....Mommy, can I have a snack, Brooks is looking at.....that's mine....Mommy, can we go somewhere Mommy?"
I am not even exaggerating! We go through this ALL DAY LONG! So, I'm glad their here. I'm glad they are who they are. I look forward to the day when I can have a conversation with them without ever hearing the word Mommy! Maybe I'll teach Metz to call me Sue.

I like the collage you made. All the kids look so good in B&W.
