We had a quiet, relaxed (well as relaxed as you can get with 4 kids!) Fourth of July. We played and grilled steaks and went to watch the fireworks. Metz was not much of a fan of the fireworks. He didn't cry, he just wiggled and whimpered like a puppy the entire time. Much like Brooks when he was around two. After watching the fireworks for a few minutes Brooks said they were burning his eyes. Then he turned to me and proclaimed, "Mommy, I think we need to pray to God!"
We had a great day celebrating our Independence!
(In the top photo Audrey would not look at me because Rob was preparing Hot Fudge Sundaes and that's ALL she would focus on!)
