Party

Well, Brooks wanted to have a sleepover for his birthday party so that's what we did. He invited 4 of his friends and we partied! We were going to have a bonfire and roast hot dogs but God gave us some COLD weather so I vetoed that. After a supper of hot dogs, chips, and of course birthday cake Rob took Brooks and his friends to Ariton to see Christmas City. I think after getting lost, maybe because of my bad directions, Christmas City was a little bit of a flop. But the kids had fun acting crazy and having boy talk in the car. Are you familiar with boy talk? It involves any bodily functions or body parts that you can, in any way, make sound funny.

When they returned home they had snacks, watched movies, had light saber fights, and had more boy talk. Fun Times!

They all behaved really well and went to bed around midnight. I didn't sleep at all but I think most of them did. Oh, and they were way to crazy for photos. The ones I tried to take are just a big blur! I'll see if Rob got any good ones and post those later.

Now, I'm off to take a nap! Not really, I wish I could!!!

Brooks -

Aunt Molly and Grandma got you something fun. Aunt Molly didn't have Metz anything fun yet, so your gift didn't get shipped on time. Now she does, so both will get shipped together on Monday. Be on the lookout for the package.
And I hope you will read this message to Metz.

Oh yes, I'll leave you some birthday clues: 1)your present came all the way from Chicago, frommy trip to the photo workshop. Where they had this special store. Wonder what it could be? 2) Metz' gift includes a cock-a-doodle-doodler...

One more thing: The wise birthday boy would try to figure out his clue by asking his mom or dad to look on Aunt Molly's blog about her trip if he wanted to figure out his birthday clue...
