Eli's New Do

Last week Eli announced that he wanted a mohawk. So we sat down together and I showed him pictures of different mohawks, just to be sure he new what he was asking for. He didn't like the really spiky ones but wanted me to cut his hair like this....

I realize that some people may think that I'm crazy for letting my 6 year old have a mohawk but here's the thing...there are sooo many things that I have to say no to. Things that have eternal significance. And I don't want my kids to grow up and be the kind of people who judge others based on how they look so who am I to tell them how they should look. As long as they're clean and happy and healthy. As long as they love God and seek to glorify Him. I'm happy

and...personally...I think he looks pretty cute!
