As I type this an episode of Dirty Jobs is on TV. It's about snake farms and I can honestly say that you couldn't pay me enough money to make me work on a snake farm! Brooks used to have a pet snake named Flicker and I guess that he was tolerable. He stayed in his little cage and I knew he wasn't going to hurt anyone so I could handle him.
I knew that it was just a matter of time before we encountered one of hose lovely creatures in our yard. I always thought I was tough enough to just kill a snake and keep going. Not so!
The 6 plus foot snake slithered up this week and I freaked. I screamed like a girl while Rob relieved him of his head. Turns out he wasn't even poisonous but do you know what? I don't even care. Snakes are not my friends.
The weird red faced lizard/skink thing showed up this week too.
Oh, and Mr. S finally smoothed the road in front of our house...and. then. it. rained. It's not smooth anymore.
The kids have been playing on the slip and slide almost daily. Why does every activity turn into wrestling???

I'll take the red unknown gross thing over a snake, any size or kind, any day.
And the slip and slide looks fun. to watch. i'd break something.
