Can't We Just Be Friends???

When I decided to get Audrey a kitten one of my first thoughts was, How is Scout going to react to this?. So far he's been good. He's interested in a friendship with Tom but not overly aggressive. He just watches...and waits...

for the right time to initiate a conversation...

Of course, Tom rebukes him and runs off to find a safe place.

And poor Scout is left wondering what he did wrong.
