Mug Shots???

For his birthday Eli got an XBOX game called Facebreaker. It is basically a boxing game but is less realistic than most that I have seen. One pretty cool thing about it is that you can upload photos of yourself and the game will transform your face into an animated boxer.
You could argue that it teaches the kids to wrestle one another but they do that on a daily basis anyway. At least this way the character gets the bruises instead of the kid!

Scenes from Eli's Birthday

This year we gave Eli the option, party OR take the money we would have spent on a party.
Eli chose to take the $. So yesterday we spent the day doing whatever Eli wanted to do.
We went to Waffle House, we played his new XBOX game, we played with the LEGOS that Aunt Molly and Grandma sent, we went to Taco Bell, we played more XBOX.
Then, last night, we went to my parents house and roasted hot dogs and made smores.
He also tried out the new bike Maw Maw & Paw Paw gave him.
Eli was king for a day, and I think he enjoyed it!

Happy Birthday Eli!

9-19-02
Our family of 3 became a family of 4 when we welcomed Elijah Franklin Faircloth into the world.
The nurse immediately said "This ones going to be high maintenance!"
I said, "No way, Brooks is so laid back I know Eli will be too."

Little did I know that this little boy with the huge smile and beautiful blue eyes was about to rock our world! He is definitely high maintenance but he is also the sweetest, funniest, most enthusiastic child I have ever met. He keeps us all laughing!

Eli's First Birthday

Eli the 6 year old!
Doesn't that smile just melt your heart?!

Eli's Accounting

Brooks: I have $3, can I buy some paint?
Eli: I have 8 ones can I buy something too?
Rob: Where did you get $8 Eli?
Eli: From PawPaw.
Rob: Are you sure it's $8?
Eli: Yeah, I have 8 ones.
Rob: Go get it and let me see.
Eli brings in his money (1 dollar bill) and says, "See I have 8 ones,
(He looks at the front of the dollar)

1,2,3,4,

(He turns it over and points to the back)

5,6,7,8."

If only it were that easy!

The images of the dollar have been removed, blah, blah, blah.....something about counterfeiting.

Eli's Take Two

Eli & Audrey sang with the Children's Choir in church this morning.
The video quality is awful because I took it with my phone but they all did a really good job!
